FP Genetics Wheat
AAC Walsh
AAC Walsh is a high-yielding CWRS variety that outperforms AAC Brandon in grain production. It features large kernel size and a very strong disease resistance package, contributing to consistent field performance. AAC Walsh has demonstrated low DON accumulation, along with improvements in grain and flour protein, falling number, and overall milling quality, making it a strong option for both agronomics and end-use value.
SeCan Spring Wheat
AAC Oakman VB
AAC Oakman VB is a semi-dwarf, solid-stem CWRS variety offering strong lodging tolerance and an impressive disease resistance package. Its solid stem provides effective protection against wheat stem sawfly, while built-in tolerance to orange wheat blossom midge adds another layer of insect defense. This makes AAC Oakman VB well suited for production across wheat-growing regions of Western Canada where these pests are a concern. Certified seed is sold as a varietal blend, consisting of 90% AAC Oakman and 10% AAC Brandon. The inclusion of AAC Brandon, a midge-susceptible variety, acts as a refuge to maintain a population of non-virulent midge, helping preserve the long-term effectiveness of the Sm1 midge tolerance gene.
