Quattro Farms grows grass seed under contract for locally owned Forty Mile Turf Seed, a southern Alberta–based company specializing in turf and forage seed production. Our partnership supports local processing and value added agriculture while connecting our production to markets across Canada and internationally. 

Grass seed grown at Quattro Farms is produced under southern Alberta’s ideal conditions, including high heat units, long daylight hours, and access to irrigation. These factors contribute to strong establishment, uniform maturity, and consistent seed quality. Following harvest, the crop is processed through Forty Mile Turf Seed’s modern cleaning and handling facilities in Bow Island, ensuring quality, traceability, and timely delivery to market.  

Grass seed production fits well within our diverse crop rotation, providing agronomic benefits while supporting sustainable land management. Through careful management and close collaboration with Forty Mile Turf Seed, Quattro Farms produces reliable, highquality grass seed for use in lawns, sports fields, and golf courses throughout North America and beyond.
